Application

Apply Patch It right after a warm shower, when your pimple has come to a head, to help the patch absorb impurities more effectively

You can use Patch It even when your pimples are flat to reduce discoloration from inflammation and residual redness (and from picking!).

FAQs

Leave it on for at least 6 hours; a full day or overnight is the sweet spot. Apply to clean, dry skin with no spot treatment underneath, then peel off gently and cleanse before your skincare or a fresh patch. Tip from Dr. Idriss: apply right after a warm shower, once the pimple has come to a head, so the patch can absorb more effectively.

Using our Major Fade Solution System with Patch It will encourage a visible reduction in hyperpigmentation, like post-acne marks. We suggest applying Patch It to clean, dry skin, and continuing to use Major Fade Hyper Serum and Major Fade Active Seal as usual.

Identical patches, better math. The 2-pack and 3-pack simply lower the per-patch price for regulars.

The azelaic acid. Each hydrocolloid patch is infused with azelaic acid and centella asiatica, so it shields the spot while calming the look of redness around it, and it's designed to help fade the look of the dark mark a blemish leaves behind.

You should not use Patch It at the same time as your spot treatment, lest it lead to irritation. Patch It is most effective once your pimple has come to a head, although you can also use it on pimples beneath the surface to reduce the look of redness and inflammation.

Though Patch It isn't an acne treatment, it can be used at any time in the lifecycle of a pimple to minimize inflammation and redness, and to keep you from picking! They also come in multiple shapes and sizes, 12mm and 14mm, to fit the many different stages and locations of a breakout

Patch It is designed to minimize inflammation and calm redness on active breakouts. For blackheads, we recommend a formula with an AHA, like our Major Fade Flash Mask, or a BHA-based treatment.

Hydrocolloid works best on blemishes that have come to a head. On deeper bumps the patch can still calm the look of redness and stop you from picking, but it won't pull a blind pimple to the surface.
