Not all sun visors are created equally- make sure that the one you’re wearing, like the Mini Shade Shorty Lux Sunshield, actually blocks UV rays.

Rain or shine, you’re still being exposed to UV light. Keep your Sunshield on even when skies are cloudy.

Don’t forget - SPF is your BFF :) Even when wearing your Sunshield, you still need to apply a topical sunscreen when you’re out in the sun for long periods of time.

FAQs

The Mini Shade is a visor, not a sized garment, so there's really no wrong fit. It has an open back with a soft, fully adjustable neoprene headband that expands to your head for a snug, no-slip feel. If it's genuinely not working for you, our partner Bluestone accepts returns within 7 days of delivery through their contact page, and shipping costs aren't refundable.

It's rated UPF 50+, which blocks about 99 percent of UVA and UVB rays, and it even shields against blue light. Think of it as step two after your sunscreen. Because a visor can't cover everything, keep your SPF on any exposed skin like your face, neck, and ears when you're out in the sun.
