How to use your Soft Wash

Application

Apply a dime to quarter-sized amount of cleanser onto dry skin, then gently add warm water and massage it all over your face to melt away your sunscreen and makeup. Rinse and pat dry.

Light makeup

No need to double cleanse! A single cleanse with Soft Wash is enough to remove light makeup, SPF, and other impurities.

Heavy makeup

Use Soft Wash as your second step in your double cleanse routine.

You can use Soft Wash daily 1-2x a day. Dr. Shereene Idriss recommends thoroughly cleansing your face in the PM and just rinsing with water in the AM. If your skin is oily, Soft Wash is gentle enough for a morning cleanse.

Soft wash is suitable for all skin types! It is gentle enough for sensitive skin types.

Yes! You can use Soft Wash twice for a double cleanse or incorporate it as a second cleanse if you like to use a micellar water or cleansing oil to remove your makeup.

We recommend applying Soft Wash to dry skin and massaging in the cleanser before applying water. Rinse Soft Wash with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Soft Wash is a gentle cleanser that can be used any skin type. The pH of Soft Wash is around 5 which is the ideal range to maintain your skin barrier.

Don’t expect this formula to foam up - it doesn’t contain traditional surfactants. Instead, this gentle yet effective formula helps skin to retain hydration.

Non-irritating to the eyes, so give a quick peek and ensure thorough cleansing without any surprises later on.

Most people only need to cleanse with Soft Wash at night, but if you’re on the oily side or have acne-prone skin, it’s gentle enough to use in the morning too.
