How to use

Application

Hyper Serum: Twist the push-button counterclockwise to the ON position, and then click to dispense 2-4 pumps per application. Gently massage serum all over face.

Active Seal: Press down to dispense (1-2 pumps per application). Gently massage moisturizer all over your face.

Frequency of use

We recommend using Hyper Serum and Active Seal twice daily, morning and night.

Suncreen

Always apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30+) as the last step in your morning skincare routine. We recommend our Major Fade Disco Block SPF 50.

Your face, neck, and chest are a cosmetic unit. If you have discoloration on your chest, you can use Major Fade Hyper Serum there too.

Major Fade Active Seal is not your average moisturizer! If you use it, you do not need a separate antioxidant or vitamin C serum.

Major Fade is for any form of uneven skin tone: discoloration, hyperpigmentation, post-inflammatory redness, or the pigmentation left behind by chronic inflammation like acne or even eczema.

Major Fade products were created with all skin types in mind. On oily skin, they are lightweight enough to not feel overbearing. On dry skin, they absorb easily and leave your skin feeling buttery soft for hours. If you have extra-dry skin or live in a dry climate, you can apply a rich basic moisturizer (no active ingredients!) after Major Fade Active Seal.

Yes! Every skin type and tone benefits from a brighter, more even-looking complexion.

Most people notice a first difference around 4 weeks, and the most visible improvement lands at 6 to 8 weeks of consistent twice-daily use. Keep showing up; that's the whole trick.

Simple version: the Duo is Hyper Serum plus Active Seal, the twice-daily core of the routine. The full system adds Flash Mask, the up-to-three-nights-a-week exfoliating step that helps the other two work harder.

Yes to both. Add Flash Mask up to three nights a week before the Duo, and keep any retinoid to non-mask nights, after Active Seal if you're sensitive.

It was a deliberate choice. Everyone's tolerance for retinol is different, and Dr. Idriss believes retinol needs to be titrated to your skin's unique needs, both in concentration and in how often you use it. That's why we left it out and designed the routine to play nicely with whatever retinoid you already use.
