Major Fade Hyper Serum has the most potent level of skin-brightening actives. To best maintain an even complexion, your skincare routine should target discoloration in multiple steps to address all the stages of discoloration.

With consistent use of the Major Fade Solution System, expect to see most results, including improvement in skin tone, faded discoloration, and fewer dark spots, in six to eight weeks. As your skin improves, continue to use the products. Dr. Shereene Idriss’s #1 rule for those with discoloration is: Be Consistent! To maintain an even complexion, your skincare routine should target discoloration even when you’re not flaring up.

Used as directed, 1 to 2 pumps morning and night, one jar should last you about 4 to 6 weeks. If you're on the oilier side and using a single thin layer, expect the longer end of that range.

No, that box is already checked. Active Seal contains a stable vitamin C ester (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) for daily antioxidant support, so just apply it each morning before sunscreen.

Less is more here. Half a pump to one pump in a thin, even layer is plenty, and you can apply it right after your serum without waiting for it to dry down. Pilling usually means too much product or layering over another silicone-rich formula, so keep the rest of that step simple. In the morning, cleanse first so you're starting on a fresh base.

Yes. The current Active Seal is the updated formula, and it includes glutathione (as oxidized glutathione) alongside the vitamin C ester for extra brightening support. You'll find it in the full ingredient list on the product page.

Almost certainly not spoiled. Our formulas are fragrance free, so you'll sometimes notice the natural scent of the raw actives, and it settles after you apply it. Some darkening over time was typical of the original formula and it still works, and the newer Active Seal has an improved emulsion that stays brighter white (you can spot it by the dark purple stripe on the box and a lot number starting with G). Unopened jars are good for 18 to 24 months and opened jars for 12 months, so if yours ever smells sour or truly off, email hello@dridriss.com with your lot number and we'll take care of you.

There's more in there, promise. Active Seal sits in an airless container, so when the pump stops dispensing, twist the dispenser top counterclockwise to open the jar and use every last drop at the bottom.
