For morning puffiness, puffy eyes and post-injection swelling
Arnica and ash bark extract reduce the look of swelling and bruising
The roller works like lymphatic drainage in a bottle
Roll-on applicator delivers actives exactly where you need them
I tend to wake up with puffy eyes due to allergies, alcohol, or just general lack of sleep. The Depuffer has been a game changer in my AM routine. I roll the product all around my eyes and let sit while I have my coffee. Rolling on the upper eyelid feels SO GOOD!! My puff is reduced significantly by the time I'm ready to follow up with the rest of my routine.

Dr. Idriss calls it lymphatic drainage in a bottle. The Depuffer™ pairs a cooling metal roller with a serum that actually treats: arnica for the look of swelling, ash bark extract for puffiness, and centella and niacinamide to calm.

Roll it under your eyes in the morning, along your jawline and chin, or over an injection site. If you're seeing a little swelling or bruising, this is what Dr. Idriss reaches for.

Clinically proven to reduce facial puffiness: in a four-week study, image analysis showed significantly improved under-eye puffiness. Fragrance-free, so the herbal scent you notice is the arnica.

  • Reduces morning puffiness and puffy eyes
  • Helps with the look of post-injection swelling and bruising
  • Works like lymphatic drainage in a bottle
  • Use on face, jawline or body
  • Apply anytime to clean dry skin.
  • Twist the roller “on,” gently squeeze, and glide over your skin to distribute a small amount of serum.
  • Twist “off,” and continue rolling to your heart’s content.
  • Pat in any excess. Allow to dry before applying other skincare products or makeup.

Gently roll the serum outwards and upwards when you apply it under your eyes. It's also great after a sweaty workout to calm flushing, and after dermatological procedures to help speed up recovery.

The brown color comes from centella, and the herbal scent is the arnica. Both are normal. Roll it on before and after procedures, or after a sweaty workout.

FAQs

Can I use The Depuffer after Botox or filler?

Yes. That's one of the best times to.

Dr. Shereene Idriss, MD

Dr. Idriss uses it to help with the look of post-injection swelling and bruising. Wait until your provider says it's okay to touch the area, then roll gently. Don't press hard on fresh injection points. It works on GLP-1 injection sites too.

The Depuffer is suitable for all skin types. It has a gel-like consistency, so it's appropriate even for oily skin.

Yes. In a third party consumer perception study of 26 subjects, 96% said that The Depuffer is gentle for everyday use, and 88% said that their skin felt soothed and calmed after using The Depuffer. That being said, if you have sensitive skin, you should patch test before applying it fully.

You should use The Depuffer consistently for at least four weeks to see results. That being said, in an independent clinical study, participants saw an immediate reduction in skin redness after using The Depuffer on irritated skin.

Yes. For the average person, using several products with niacinamide at efficacy levels won’t irritate their skin, because it’s generally a well-tolerated ingredient. For individuals with sensitive skin, and in the undereye area, it's optimal to err on the side of caution and patch test, or to use only one product with niacinamide.

That's exactly where it shines. Gently roll outward and upward, and keep the serum out of your eyes themselves.

Rosacea deserves a doctor's care, so no, it does not treat it. What it is clinically shown to do is improve the look of transient redness and flushing, which many people with reactive skin appreciate.

No. Dark circles come from pigment or shadow, while The Depuffer targets under-eye puffiness and the look of redness, which it has been clinically shown to reduce. If dark circles are your main concern, our guide to dark circles on the Nerd Academy blog breaks down what actually helps.

That scent is the arnica itself. The Depuffer is fragrance free, and we don't add masking fragrance to cover up what real actives smell like, so what you're smelling is pure arnica at a level that actually works. The natural herbal scent is completely normal. We'd rather be honest about it than add fragrance to a product made for reactive, easily irritated skin.

Fresh face first. Apply it any time on freshly washed, dry skin and let it dry before other products or makeup. In the Major Fade routine, it goes on before Hyper Serum and Active Seal.

Yes. There are two types of facial discoloration: hyperpigmentation and redness. Major Fade addresses the former; The Depuffer addresses the latter. When using them together, Dr. Shereene Idriss recommends applying The Depuffer first in the morning, followed by Hyper Serum and Active Seal. In the evening, apply Flash Mask first, then The Depuffer, before Hyper Serum and Active Seal.
